Reverend Warren Armstrong and Harriet Potter
This is Elmers grandfather Reverend Warren Armstrong Potter. He was born 1/12/1820 and died 7/23/1880. He married Harriet C. Capen on 10/20/1849. Harriet was born 6/21/1831 and died 1/9/1895. I have a picture of her you can have at a later date as it is in use now. Warren was born in Bennington Vermont. He was ordained a Free Will Baptist Pastor at the age of 35 although he began preaching at age 18. From Vermont he moved to New York and then to Ohio some time after 1852. He moved to Wisconsin some time before 1863. He is buried in Monticello Wisconsin.
These are the six adult children of Reverend Warren Armstrong Potter and Harriet C. Capen (Rons great-grandparents).
Front left - Julliette Graves Potter, born 2/13/1852. She married Ross Dennis on 5/19/1872. She died 12/23/00.
Front right - Cora Mae Potter, born 5/11/1869. She married Willette S. Cox on 8/28/1888. Willette died in 1907 and she then married Dr. George C. Crissman in 1919. He was a methodist minister. She died 9/8/1920.
Rear left - Our grandfather, Elmer Nelson Potter. He was born 7/14/1863 and died May 10, 1925. He married Nellie Gertrude Hinckley 10/3/1885.
Rear center - William Armstrong Potter, born 3/4/1876. He married Lovilla Mardes Atkinson on 7/11/1899. He died in 1933.
Rear right - Frank Armstrong Potter, born 7/27/1872. Died 11/28/1941. Frank never marrried.
