I
was married back in 1977 (I think) to Cindy Watenpaugh. (You have that name a
little confused on the family site...but that's ok). We had Dana...who is now
20 and was married last June to Steve Gutenberger...and she informed me a week
or so ago that I will be a grandfather in November. They live in Longview, WA.
After
that I made the horrible mistake of marrying Jackie Wilson. We were married
for 18 years and she essentially led a secret life. Anyway. We divorced in a
court battle that started in 1997 and finally ended in January 2000. I won
custody of my three children. Brent is now 17, Bailey is 10 and Gabrielle is
8. There is enough about that situation to fill a book and make a
movie....which is what I should do to recoup some of the expenses.
Amazingly
enough I met Pam Geister about two weeks after the divorce....I was never
going to be involved with another woman as long as I lived, had determined
that I would live the life of the single father, etc. etc.
KABOOM....there
went that theory. It was like a train wreck. We have been married since August
and all is well (except that the kids' mom makes life a little uneasy.)
Pam
has a 17 year old son too...Aaron. He is a great kid...plays jazz trombone
like there is no tomorrow...just got accepted into the Berklee School of Music
in Boston (very high honor).
